SSP:

SSP Core is recommended to be listened to using over-the-ear headphones.  If using headphones initially creates an unsafe experience, your provider may suggest speakers as an intermediate step toward headphone use.  SSP Connect and SSP Balance can both be delivered without headphones.

The speakers are intended to be an intermediate delivery option for those who are adverse or sensitive to headphones. The goal should be to use the speakers until your tolerance for headphones has increased. The timeline for this will vary with each client and each experience. You and your provider will work together to determine what is best for you.

ILS (Focus):

Due to the use of bone conduction, speakers are not appropriate for use with the ILS (Focus System) programs.
